Default Pics : Silver and Red Suzuki Cappuccino

Spotted this car, its called a Suzuki Cappuccino. Supposedly powered by a 657cc engine producing some 63bhp. Production started in 1991 and ceased in 1997.

Yup. Seen this car at the same location. Its as small as a Honda Beat or maybe more smaller. Cute car, very underpowered though.

Default Silver Suzuki Cappuccino at Marine Drive

Spotted this on my way to work this morning, you hafta' pay attention to that huge exhaust tip, and true to the Cappuccino tradition it was driven by one of the fairer sex.
I expected it to turn towards H.R. College at the churchgate signal, but it drove into the busy Dalal Street.

There's a picture of me next to and in this very car somewhere on Team-BHP. I just cannot find it.

Default Suzuki Cappuccino

Hi Guys,
My first post, I have been frequenting the site for sometime now, thank you for all information.
I have always wanted to own a compact convertible and the moment i could get an opportunity to lay my hands on a Suzuki Cappuccino i just jumped at it. But now starts the hard work and heart aches, considering it is in its 17th year and that the previous owners have really used it, I have a lot of work to do to bring it back to its youthful days. A lot of the spares are not available easily and needs to be sourced overseas. I am based in Chennai and am looking out for a good workshop, I have heard of Hi-Rev (Welcome to HI - REV Automotives - Home Page) who may be able to handle this. Any suggestions, advice from the experts here would be great. Thanks

It's mechanically a simple car (like most Suzukis are). Thus, your only hurdle is sourcing the spares. Use the internet & shop online. Not only will you get the best rates, but also the widest range. My suggestion : If you intend to retain the car for a long time, revamp her completely. Whatever work is required in the engine, tranny, suspension, electricals etc. get the same done once and for all.

Once you have the parts with you, any competent garage can carry out the job.
