Have any of you noticed how every Ferrari has water droplets out of its exhaust...all the time? I had even read something about this on a Ferrari board.

Hey M5, i went to see the Chevy Corvette today at Bharti Automobiles. The guy started the car and revved it. And after swithcing it off, he went to explain that it has a very healthy engine [pointing at water droplets on the exhaust]. I think thats quite normal for a car with a cat-con.

Is he also the guy from Bangalore who is supposed to have bought the red Ferrari Enzo? It was lying here for three months in a shed at Citizen Hotel - Juhu with a broken glass. Rumour has it that it was transported thereon to Bangalore.

I don't know about the Enzo, my count is that he has a Corvette, a Range Rover (second generation not the latest), a land Cruiser, a Porsche 993 cabrio, an old BMW 520. Rumour has it that he was to buy that black Porsche 996 cabrio sitting in the Leela but he backed out

Yep, I believe though that the bimbo from top drive wrecked a tyre of the 996 during the shooting. BTW forgot to add that there is a rumour doing the social circuit that our taxi owner has an Aston Martin on order....and his suppliers are starving !

hi guys, well if u guys have recovered from the "Enzo" hangover, heres some deadly news.

Yesterday me and my bro went to Choksis to check if he's got some cars. Well, there were nothin new. Just the usual GTO's, M's, LC's etc. We went and spoke to Choksi's son and I told him abt the Enzo at Citizen. Surprisingly he was shocked to hear that and told me that it cannot be possible cos its a LHD and cannot be imported. I told him that Enzo is also available in RHD. Still he cudnt belive cos the car is very EXPENSIVE.

Anyways then I told him abt the 575M in Bangalore owned by the BPL guy. He said that he doesnt own it but cud have got it just like that. He also went on to tell me that he owns 4 360 Modena's [all different colors] and also that Ferrari has "gifted " him a technician AND he knows the technician.

These are probably the modern day equivalents of the stories like of that maharaja who made rolls royce garbage trucks~!
The funny thing is that i mis-read the last line as "Modena's [all different colors] and also that Ferrari has "gifted " him a technician AND he OWNS the technician." ...hahaha..wouldnt be suprised

I have never seen a 360 in Bangalore. Enzo's are not made in RHD, I have on my desk, June 2003 edition of CAR which is about the singer Jamaqurai singer Jay Kay taking delivery of his Enzo from Modena to drive to the UK- it is LHD, neither the F40, F50 were made in lhd. Frankly, I would question an Enzo in India.

One person I know of who owns quite a few Ferraris is a chap called Anil Thadani, (no nothing to do with films). Sits ion the board of Apollo hospitals. He is a mega financer (Schroders) of hotels and hospitals based in Singaporeand keeps his cars (most of them ) in the UK.

Yes, I have read that issue of the Enzo drive from Modena to the UK too!! Its a black enzo if I remember correct. What an article? They described the delivery celebrations at Ferrari, the drive back, onlookers reactions...the works!!

I love british car magazines...From the American I like only Road & Track. Motor Trend and Car & Driver suck.
