I guestimate the price to be around 10-12 lakhs for this version.

There is also a supercharged version of that 660cc engine I think.

they had plans to launch the A class and not the Smart. The A Class would have costed around 14 lakhs, so they cancelled the project.

I have spoted this car always while going to my office in nariman point....it crosses me at mantralaya signal always morning aroung 10.30 types and goes to colaba.........hey this smart small car is a beauty and is also driven by a beautiful lady.............the one in pic on the blog the colour does not match with the one I am talking about.......It is multi colored small beauty.

Yup, saw it last night, northbound outside Shivsagar Estate, Worli. Both wifey & me were waiting to take a U-Turn & craned our necks so hard we nearly broke them!

Tried to catch up after the U-Turn, but due to moronic other drivers (always them, never me), couldn't catch up.

Am in serious trouble now - wifey wants one instead of her Alto (http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/vbpicg...?do=view&g=301). How much did you guys say these things cost (brand new or otherwise)?

The one you saw, a yellow and red is a 800cc.diesel cdi. gives 30 kmpl in city.
A new one would cost 16lacs+ since[duty,octroi,taxes=160%]
