does DC actually own a aston martin.my friend showed me a pic where dc is standin beside a green aston martin.did he buy it or got it as a gift.

I think it was Revvmaster who posted on seeing a semi-assembled (i.e. without headlights and tyres) Aston Martin close to the airport.

Saving duty as a SKD?

this was an aston martin with him for some time..which was sent by the company to him
to change the design..n aston martin had displayed the car at some international car expo..
also same thin with the M12..

Quite possible that the car was part of the payment. No idea if the car is still with him. No doubt, with the duty free allowances for R&D, he will bring stuff over for "research" and then Mr Choksi will flog the used goods !

This car is not in town. So that does mean there there is no Aston Martin in India. I'm hoping for the AMV8

. Anyways the story is that he got two cars so that he could break down and use them to built the concept car. But he only used one car in his making so he had the second car. Now if he wanted to keep the car he would have to pay 70 lakhs as duty so instead he broke down the full second car and sold the spare parts. From what i hear he put the rims on his PALIO!!!!

Out of his 10 creations only one is worthwhile or just worth seeing.

ya aadix, that pic is from ACI. but it cud be that they covered it when the car was with him.
