| Senior - BHPian | Ya.. the HUD shows the Rpm speed as well as the gear te car is in.. the Engine has developed some strange noise in the Intake system right from day one.. the engine sounds almost like a diesel at idling.. so the car is under observation.. a Tech guy from BMW had come to inspect the vehicle.. so some work has to be done on the vehicle.. Regards, Maverick |

| Forget the M5. I'm in love with the new E60 535d. The car may have about half the M5's power figures, but it has 413 lb-ft of torque compared to the M5's 384 lb-ft. Sure it doesn't have the 8250 rpm red line or the NA engine, but this thing has two turbos working sequentially. The smaller of the two turbochargers spools up quickly to kill lag while the larger one force feeds plenty of air so that the engine doesn't run out of breath after 4000 rpm. It still does 0-60 in higher 6's and does 35 mpg too. And with the optional sport pack looks as good as the M5 too. |
