Got this particular bit of info from Classic Cars by Michael Bowler.
"Cadillac began to use coachbuilding names for their models as Sedanca de Ville, Coupe de Ville and Brougham, even though they didnt always match the early motoring definitions. De Ville used to imply open front seats with a closed rear section, coupe being shorter version of the Sedanca. The Brougham, after Lord Brougham's nineteenth century one horse closed carriage, was similar to the Coupe de Ville but usually shorter and with razor edged styling for the closed compartment. Cadillac chose to use Coupe de Ville on the 2 door coupe from which the Eldorado was derived, and used Brougham for the four door Fleetwood And Eldorado."

Quite an old topic i know. But has anyone seen the Cadillac Seville that used to be parked at Choksis some years back. Seen it only once at Choksis and once at a garage in Juhu. And it looked amazing. Was a dark blue one. The same model as the one below :

saw this car somewhere 10 months back at a petrol pump in Kurla near Kamran cinema, i guess , it was the Indiam oil Petrol pump.

There are usually 3 to 4 cars for sale at the petrol pump

the asking price was 2 lak
the color was a sligt darker tahn sky blue.
it had orignal leather seats, and the interiors were pretty neat.
its was a diesel car requiring two huge batteries.
it had a hand gear lever like in the Fiat Padmini.

Byramshroff,
Could you divulge some more info on that 98 SL320, like its color, etc?!
I've seen the black Lincoln Navigator in Bandra.
