Pics : Black/Silver SL500 in Mumbai.

Hi guys,

Its 3 a.m and I'm posting the pics of the Balck SL500. Spotted it outside Urban Tadka yesterday at 11 p.m on my way home. Literally jumped out of the car. Went home and came running back with my new digicam. So here are the pics. Thought i'll post it before I leave for Mangalore in half an hr.

Man, maybe its just the black paint, but this car looks to be in shabby condition!

BTW V12, did you experiment lower shutter speed or something? The 3rd pic is blurred, strange when the car is standing still.

Looks like you still have to get used to the slow speed of a digicam compared to that of a regular cam eh!

Hey V12,

Awesome!! congrats on your new cam. It really is one of my top digicam choices!!!!! really...

However with a digicam u gotta try and make sure the subject is as well lit as possible.
Using the "sport" mode to take pics of moving cars etc wld be a good idea!

Seen this SL quite a few times in Bandra. When I saw it.. it was in a DAMM good condition.. this must be around a month back!! ITs regn is i guess MH-06-W-XXXX!!

Hmm,the car is actually in a pretty alright state.I guess the black color had its toll on the car.And well,dust too is quite visible on a black car.
Also if i'm not mistaken this is Sunny Deol's car.
Can ne1 confirm.

That sure explains the condition of this car. Those homologation guys must have had a blast gunning this baby on the VRDE track. And they treat these cars worse than taxi drivers do to their rented cabs.

Smart things to do by buying the homologation car he saved a chunk of money on it. The car is in perfect condition i used to see it everyday before i left to bombay to school in new york as his office is next door to mine, its in sparkling condition he must have come back from a long distance journey hence in these pics the car looks very messed up.

You cant really say the car is in bad condition guys.
Everyone here is so quick to judge the condition that peoples cars are in, based on one set of photos

Its a black car....and its the end of the day in bombay...the car is BOUND to be dusty. Sometimes when i go down to my car at abt 10am its aldready dusty! from just being parked there! lol

ps - v12...another tip.... rest the camera on something stable when shooting at night and u wil get a much clearer pic...

Stratos is right about the reg plate . This same car the black SL500 was being ripped at seaface the other evening when I and Revv met up after his college.. Rem that evening Revv?

Abou the car being dirty if I'm not wrong it did rain yesterday so thats how we can see some muck in the first pic
