hey v12 thts a daimler..it was written at the back side
have seen tht car lying at a borivili garage..on gorai rd..
i have seen it personally..amazin car..but the mechanic said theres lot of work in the car n the parts r not easily available...he also said the car is from bombay or somewhere from tht side..
looks awesome..
i seen it just abt 2 or 3 weeks back...
but im still confused ..coz.. can this car which has daimler written be called a jag..

Well, if it's badged "Daimler", call it Daimler. It's something like the Rolls Royce - Bentley story. Same car, same engine, different badge. We still called a Bentley a Bentley and a Rolls Royce a Rolls Royce.

Jags sell more than Daimlers unless Daimlers have some drastic features. To give you an exact comparison Rolls used to outsell Bentelys until they put a turbo, then Bentleys outsold Rolls Royce (in the latter years, VW did not put much into Rolls products)

Ofcourse it does. Daimler is as traditional as any name can get. Infact, there are people who prefer Daimlers to Jaguars. C. B. Garware is one of them. He sold his old Double Six (Series III) and acquired a Daimler V8 (X300) a couple of years ago.

daimlers are hi end Jaguars for the british market. and that maroon car was a jaguar xj not a daimler. it has a leaping cat on the bonnet. i`ll give u a better picture of a daimler soon!!
