Here are some figures from motorcylistonline.com

Triumph R3:
0-60mph: 3.54s
0-400m: 11.21@120.54mph.

Here's the zx12rs figures:

0-60mph: 2.97s
0-400m: 9.87@146.29mph(!!! And these are not even the best times )

Here's the busa's figures:

0-60mph: 3s
0-400m: 9.86@145.8mph

The rockets a cruiser in front of these.

Technocrat, there is no way you seen these pics before, maybe similar but not the same. V12 has posted some pics on Pg 4, post #52.

Hey powersalve an R-1 slower than a Busa? A R-1 user on Tbhp said that it does 0-100 sprint in 2.7 Secs so how come? I think that was his nick name too 0-100@2.7 sec or something.
cheers,
Raihan

What he said is to be taken with a pinch of salt. Secondly, those are 0-60 times(mph) which is not the best measure of a bike's performance. Moreover that guy owns a 2003. Which cannot do that time. Nor can a 2004. If some mag has published such times, then it is very well quite uncommon.
The litre bikes are closing in on the heels of the busa and the zx12R every passing year, indeed. Upto 100mph, the pick-up is very close, but at higher speeds like 160mph+, thats where the busa and the zx12r walk all over the litres. But yea, they are neck and neck in the 0-60. Dunno how you should judge which bike is faster only by considering the 0-60mph times ?

Can u post the 0-100 times for the 2005 R-1 Vs Busa?
It don't matter if the R-1 is slower after 160mph it looks stunning

Here's a 2004 Black Busa. Owner was too obliged that he even got down in the middle of traffic to allow a pic to be taken. Could manage this one pic since the lights went green.

And heres a Hayabusa with a single-sided Yoshimura Can.
