yes there is one and that is brought to the country by the Navnit group, youmight have seen it int he mags, and yes it is headed for the Bangalore showroom as part of the centenary celebrations of RR. It was supposed to reach by end Feb, no idea as to why it got delayed. It is a silver grey color. and has a 6.75L tweaked beemer engine. It definitel;y is the Phantom.

the blacks look sooo much better than the other colors. This is in the case of the Phantom and the CLS.

When gutka baron bought his daughter's birthday present:
1. he had to wait for a days to get a RTO tax challan. RTO comps did not have 5 crore amount as price data for its calculation.

2. Not a single insurance company came ahead to take that car's insurance. Finally the company TOKIO IFFCO (also handling gutka factory) took it with plenty of conditions to follow with.

I didn't know our system was sooo bad and they actually underestimated Indians in buying such expensive cars that they didn't program the software accordingly.

No need to worry - he cannot use it for a while. He should have bought one in Dubai

Default spotted phantom

hey i was on a trip to mumbai and saw the black phantom in the car park of the taj hotel next to the Gateway of India. Clicked a pic of it through a friends 3230. It looks really awesome. You have to see it in person to really believe its size. But one thing that i couldnt understand was that this beauty had a Uk registered number plate.

well always dui.. its not a consulate car.. they are easy to distinguish.. consulate cars have the country code as the begining..followed by CC and then the car no.. which is a simple serial no. for eg;4 CC 111, and they have yellow plates both front and rear.. similarly embassy cars have both plates blue with CD written in betwn eg; 11 CD 4, whereas private cars have white pltes in front and yellow plates at the rear, cant figure out the coding though..

regards,
Maverick
