I like Amitabh Bachchan a lot but not his choice of cars. I mean there isn't one on the line-up which I would say I have ever thought of having, for example, I would choose M6 rather than 645i, I would go for SL63AMG rather than SL500 (Ok when he got it SL63 was not there but what about SL55AMG!!). Now a Porsche Cayman is not a true Porsche. God make him choose his cars as well as he chooses his clothes!

hey guys have you'll noticed that the car amar singh claims to have brought down to bom for his use is the bentley gt, its the same car shown driven by abhishek bachan and carried aishwarya in. so could someone explain to me how it would be used for his personal use like he claims cosidering that he his a politician.

There still isnt an SL63 AMG, the SL still sticks to the 55AMG.
And frankly he is an old man now, what would he or rather where would he use the power of an m6 in bombay.
IMO he has a great taste in cars, he goes looks more at the style aspect which is fine because all the cars he chooses already have power to go with the styling.

In my opinion Mr. Bachchan has fantastic taste period. Be it Cars, Clothes, Accessories whatever. His taste in cars shows he's informed and well read on them. He doesnt need to power crazy and go in for impractical AMG and M cars which will probably hurt his back with their hard suspensions. But almost all of his cars have a minimum of a V8. So the man likes his power no doubt but not ludicrous power at that. When most actors just buy a big Benz or big BMW (Actors of his generation), AB has some of the finest automobiles available. Theres not a single Diesel. He loves BMWs which is more of a drivers car. Has a 760, which most other actors would think is the same as a 730d or hopefully they even recognize its a 7. His car choices are a class act. He has Grand Touring big coupes, luxury sedans and luxury SUVs. All of the cars wallow him in the lap of luxury. His cars are as good as any Hollywood A-List Star. There really is no better car left for him to buy. The Phantom is at the top of the car-chain so to speak. Now please dont start arguing oh he could have got an Enzo, a CGT, etc. In keeping with his type of cars hes choosing the best. The man could have easily got a 911, so the Cayman S was purely his choosing. Maybe he knows its one of the best balanced Porsches out there. Too many people comment "Theres not a single car in ABs garage which I would have bought if I were him". Come on ... I mean like seriously. Why wouldnt you guys drive a 650,760,Cayman S, or a Bentley GT. Theres a car in there for everyones liking. Sometimes I think we comment just for the sake of it.

Very valid points there beem3r.. he indeed does have great taste in cars for his age.. his 760Li individual is one of the best around.. with gorgeous 20 inch ///M alloys, white leather upholstery etc.. also one clarification.. he does not have a 6 series..

Would love to see some pics of his 760Li. Most pics of the car are just windscreen shots of him or Abhishek sitting inside. Can make out the white/black leather steering wheel. He doesnt have a 6 series? Its posted all over the forum that he has one. I was wondering why there were no pictures. Mav if you have any shots of the 760Li please post them.

Completely agree with BEEM3R here. He and the Phantom will complement each other very well.
