Actually you're mistaken. The Import duty on used cars are higher. I think 180 percent (New cars 113%). So on something a Murcielago which hasnt been around too long, it might not depreciate that much and might even work out more expensive than buying brand new. This is a sparingly used supercar. Which is already been imported. And lots of very rich people trade cars amongst them a lot. Theres no loss of value or pride or 'bling' in it. Its not like these cars can have high miles and be abused a lot. They're barely driven.. except maybe nights or sundays. Plus at the end of the day when you say 'I drive a Lamborghini' I doubt anyone will look at you and go 'is it used?'

Viper
It's due to a different offset & width to accomodate the 335-section rear tyre. And this is how all Murcielago's came from the factory.

i saw it less than a month ago in delhi. at the same petrol pump where the car was photographed. i have been seeing this car ever since i moved to delhi now i am confused. maybe ishan can throw in more light on this. as far as i know this car has not left delhi. there must be another gallardo with the panaromic roof and yellow colour delhi registered car in bombay.

i dont doubt you at all GORDON you got me all wrong. all i am saying is that there are two of them one in delhi and the other in Bombay then. the delhi one sports another number than. ishan would be haveing pictures and should be able to clarify. i think the delhi car sports different plates unless he bought this car secondhand too.
