Imports in Chandigarh

Here are the first pic of few imports that we have in chandigarh

This is my moms best friends car actually her son's ride will get more details in the morning about the rims

The cars history
it was imported to india from germany in 2003 When imported it had the worst rim design they were upgraded last year
The rim cost around 2.5 lakhs (that what my bros say)
It has every option available at that time its a s 350 cdi

it has been in newspaper a couple of times to


will get better pics when the car returns or when my moms visits my anut

Its owned by one of my friends and he is planning of importing a turbo by the year end
It has full leather option and a triptonic tranny( so no wheel spins) tried it so may times but still no luck but does very good 360

One, I hate those rims on the S. Waste of 2.5 lks IMO.
Also, there is no S350 CDI. It's either S350 OR S320 CDi.

Hey Manik,

This is a good tread that you have started.

If I'm not wrong, the porsche has a PB 15 series registration number, belonging to Abohar city in Punjab.

Some other imports in Chandigarh (apart from the usual Pajeros, Prados, Mercedes, etc.) are:-

1. A blue 5 series BMW (two generations old)
2. A silver Lexus RX 350 SUV, don't remember the exact model number
3. A streched black S 600 by DC (Don't know whether it qualifies as
an import, but it really stands out) Same PB-15 series number
4. A red-black Toyota MR-2.
5. A red Miata with huge chrome alloys (belongs to rallyist Sunny Siddhu, I guess)
6. A golden Mazda S6
7. A Blue Porsche Cayenne (Delhi Number, but have seen it here a number of times in the last six months, so maybe it belong here)

Don't have any photos , but will try to click next time I come across them.

Well jsrakkar you forgot the 2 so called Lambhorghini (some people think coz its door open upside).. The Toyota Sera. 1 Black and 1 Green/Lemonish. And the Lexus SUV's 3 of them don't know the model number but it was something like LX6 something..

Lemonish/Gren one belongs to a Reporter or something like that.

2.5 lacs??!!!!!!!it is absolutley waist of money it looks ok no the car but he would have gone for so many better and cheaper option

We also have a black X5 and BMW Z4 (sliver) some new s class
we have a golden cayenne in sec 9
we also have a cayenne as a taxi in TAJ
We also have a black mx5 and i saw a 3 series the pic is not clear but thats the best i could do


and now we are getting a BMW dealership in chandigarh we will see more of these

Saw a silver ml in sec 10 today will click pic and post it

heard that its the only ml in chandigarh rite now and its owned by a sikh gentleman
don't know why but i feel sikhs have a good taste for car

Nice to know that chandigarh has got some killer cars too. City is clean and the roads are better than bombay.

hi there, we have a lexus harrier white color in mohali, a lexus ls 470 suv , a new grey color 7 series in chd,white 3 series, e class is becoming common in chd there are 8-10 cars in kharar only,a white s class ,ford mustang(under restorartion) . now i guess i will start taking pics and post them .

we have 3 mustangs in chandigarh a 67 and then two of 70s and we have a 4 but the last one is a contessa modded to look like a mustang

both 70s are under restoration

if we are not about the same cars we have 4 orignal mustangs in chandigarh can you beat this
i will 90% go today or kal and click pics of the mustangs i know of

67 mustang is hot its got a purple dark blur custom paint and nice 16 or 17" wheels she is one hooooooooot ride
