hope the owner treats his next car with a little more respect. cant get over the shock of 2cr down on one night of partying.

Gentleman, the car was bought second hand by the current owner in late 2005, for Rs.1.40cr. its a 2003 model!
and Please note the quote from Bentley Motors for the repair with parts is, hold your breath-- 50 lacs++.
and the owners given the go ahead!!
You end up paying Pounds 65000+ for a 2003 Arnage even in UK, so with all the duties etc it would still be worth 1.20cr here in India[offcourse not for this one now]
The new RL would cost upwards of 3.00cr now!

50 Lakhs ++ and still given a go ahead ..
Owner seriously likes that particular car i guess..
oh btw, how much would it fetch if it was a total write off ??

Ill buy it as is for 50lacs!! Then put the engine/drive train in my Impala, as a swapable option! Rest of the parts can keep using over the next 20 years!

Interesting ideas! How will the Impala chassis deal with the humongous torque? I foresee a lot of twisting!

scooby have to agree with you. would'nt mind buying it myself too fo 50lacs. would be worth the buy. heard someone is getting the gtc in bom. dont know how true this is. has anyone heard of this.

which year impala do you have sir. is it the old muscle car or is it on of the newer ones of the 90s?

i have seen one here was a purplish blue (upaj motors) now sent to pune?? and white one recently however this is what a friend mentioned to me , hence not confirming could be simply hearsay
