I remember seeing the beast overtake me on the highway as it was going to the BMW event. It was ecstasy to the eyes and ears as it passed by.

I guess this is the same LP640 that was brought under the EPCG scheme? I guess so because KBK yellowed out the tiny black numbers on the back, which reminded me of that Pune LP that was brought under EPCG.

There is only one LP in Pune that belongs to Avinash Bhosale. This should be the same one.

and did he drive down all the way from pune to lonavala? or was it loaded on a bay of a truck and unloaded everywhere the roads seemed suitable??

and how come he wasn't there at the porsche event?!?

its the same car. i guess its the only lp in india which came via epcg.

nice way to save some bucks on the no. plate. buy a yellow car through epcg and paste the nos. on it direcly!! (just kidding)

Wonder how sports cars are allowed through EPCG unless thrill rides are part of airport transfers...

This is one nut (EPCG) I would love to learn to crack !!!

As far as i know for EPCG you need a company and just show that your building a hotel or motel or starting a taxi service get the license , import the cars , hide from the officials thats it

but yes sports cars are allowed because there is no clause in it which describes the cars that can be imported under the EPCG scheme so hence any car (even a veyron) can be imported . Its just smart tackling of accounts thats required to keep em running.
