The Speedo metre is a little disappointing.I would expect a much more revolutionised and modern gadget here.

Produced from 2004 - 06 . Throughout the 2 year production , minor changes were made. As such the speed the CGT reaches and the sound that pours into your eyes, I bet one wouldn't focus much on the speedo. =)

If porsche can get TWO carrera GT's for display(after all have been sold out)it beats me why Merc cant get a single SLR here(even though its still in production).

The coupe production ended and the roadster version will end in early 2009.

Correction in previous post - meant "ears" not "eyes"

its only on invitation basis to prospective clients. After paying 25k you can confirm your place and you get to drive almost all the porsche cars (accept the GT) on the air strip all by your self.

Check these out

Doctorque : Nobody gets to drive the Porsche all by themselves, there always is a PWRS driving instructor with you, yeah maybe for the off-road section in the Cayenne's but other than that you are aways with an instructor who do not allow the driver to go beyond a drving threshold.

I was there last time, it was awesome. Always had a Instructor though. Too expensive this time at 25000 Rs with the overnight stay. If it was same as last time at 16000 Rs, I am sure there would be a lot more takers including me and a few friends.

The Cost of getting 18 porsches here from germany specifically for PWRS along with best fuel available in the country, the shalleys, the dinner, the management of every single detail beggs for expenditure. Its not profit making for us at all. its just to recover some of the expediture.
