we clocked a decent 7kmpl, even the Maserati Gransport gives me 7.5 approx in Normal mode and 1.2kmpl in Sports if i red line with every up shift mode hahahah. But red lining in a Mas is pure bliss due to the exhaust note so prefer driving it in Sports mode all day long. The sound is worth every drop of fuel!

the soul reason to buy that vehicle is thats its a hummer, but even i feel its not worth choosing an h3 is worth over a cayene or ML

but then again looking at the white one certainly gets you tempted

seriously the h3 is definitly a looker in india

however here in the gulf its definitly an embaressment.
ive seen people buy brand new h3s and then send it back to the delears to sell in their certified division. its cheap here considering other suvs and has lesser resale value. i sat in one was cramped. would prefer a chevy tahoe anyday.

it is a serious offroader but who needs one most of the time!!!!!
buying it is just for the HUMMER tag nothing else

i read a review of the h3 in CAR UK , they said its a terrible car along with poor legroom & lack of engine refinement , here though it easily outclasses the mitsu montero , toyota land cruiser

Its one of the worst cars that I have driven. Press the pedal, do what you want, the car is just sitting there! Doesnt move at all.

Guys i think we are all missing the point here. Its a Hummer, with go anywhere capabilty. Its not for throwing around corners and power sliding. With regard to the interiors being cramped, yes it is because the mechanicals are tucked away in the centre tunnel and are not underneath. I drove it from Andheri to Bandra and the car was reasonably easy to drive. Also the engine is nothing great but its got oodles of torque from the word go. Accelaration is not its forte but climbing over rocks at steady speeds is surely possible!

at 30-40 lakhs (on official india launch) its going to be cheaper than the ml or the cayenne. its a true thorough bred suv and not a hotchpotch. truly macho. a true blue off roader in every sense. i never enjoyed or felt more secure and comfortable jumping road dividers in any other softie pseudo suv costing the same.
