New Hummer H3 at National Garage - Team-BHP

Aparantly it seems General Motors is looking at launching the Hummer H3 in India for a price under 40 Lakhs. However alot of halla has been going around since recently the price was miss quoted at Rs.25 Lakhs instead. Just some pics for you guys to oggle at whn i took the car for a spin frm my dealership. I loved it except for the rear seat was falling short under my things. they dint reach to behind my knees. everything else was perfect. wished the gears were DSG or CVT with a 700bhp W16 cdi and a panoramic sunroof with scissor doors and 26inch alloys. i missed some features of teh H1 like 40inch fording capability and 16 inch ground clearence with equaly mind numbing traversing and approach departure angles. whtever said itl surely kill the suv market in india. Its got allt eh perfect ingredients one looks in an suv. now its more user friendly too. go get it..... the bus wallas wont mess with you and the auto wallas will just stad still gaping at its face. Pedestrians will be in awe. And you neednt worry of anything called potholes road dividers floods rivers forects mountains etc. It truely gives you the sense of taming nature. A sense of total security and supreme power over all thats 'others" call vehicles. an edge above the rest undoubted.

If priced at 35 - 40 lacs on the road, the Hummer will be received pretty well by the market. It can off-road, looks *like* the Hummer and has tremendous brand value within this segment of buyers.

How about some specs, agent? What engine is it going to be offered with? When do deliveries begin?

That H3 is currently being displayed at the Autocar Performance Show along side a SR-V at the GM stall.

my father was told by the guys at GM that the car would priced at around 40 lacs on road. i hope the guys launch it soon. i would definately be buying one. agent when would the cars start rolling out from the showrooms? now you dont have to pay the ridiculous prices quoted for the H3 by dealers. thank God for that.

it may even one tenth of that of the h1 but even that is leagues ahead of any of the other more expensive suvs on the market.
sure GTO will post the specs too..its a 3.7L petrol 5 cylinder. Vortec engine. But on road it felt as quick and nible as teh porsche cayanne S and with loads of moe interiors cabin room even at teh rear seats. In terms of off road capability evn the baby hummer is like a monster compared to the rest.

the first image made me think, ah!! it doesnt come with body colored bumpers

but after looking at the second image, it gives a muscular look.

Atlast we will be seeing the Hummer actually being sold at the showrooms.

So now we have a perfect vehicle for Mumbai roads which can even take you to home from work during the rains.

Pricing being somewhere close to Rs. 40 lakhs. I expect to see it in nos. on the road.

By the way "Milleage Kitna hai" hahahaha!!
