It's actually more than that. I was told that it starts at a 'reasonable' 6 crores, and can go further northwards. I guess the saying 'some things in life are priceless' doesn't apply here.

@JayR: starts at 6 crores? i dont think so because the guys at mercedes told me that the "base model" is about 5.25 crore ex-showroom. Yes i sat in it, the rear seats are just sweet, i started the engine as well, it doesnt make a lot of noise for a v12.

I really wouldn't trust most showroom guys. A few of them in the b'lore dealer especially are not well informed at all. when one chap told me that a standard S600 will cost 2.5 crores, i told him that it was Bentley territory. He was like" Sir, if an S350 itself is 1 crore rupees, then imagine the S600". Thought he was joking initially...

Righto. Its probably the most solid car ever. Have seen the car's advert on youtube. Surely some world leaders will be queueing up for it. The best car to replace our PM's ageing bimmer( it was bought by the NDA govt )

My views of the 'Godzilla' like S-Class!.There was a viewing at the dealership with mocktails and eats served which was nice and i was told that the Dy.CM was going to check out this car too!.It's like a tank.
