@PJSPEED: The rear rims have almost a 3.5-4 inch lip.

Looks like the owner didn't know which luxo-sedan to choose.... so he got all three!

Incredibly timeless and elegant lines on this Jag. Love the scoop on the bonnet, those heaadlamps and the swooping rear end. Beautiful car and very well kept.
Thanks manish, you made my day.

Even speaking as one who is not a sports-car fan, the e-type is just the hight of beautiful car design.

I met someone with a V-12 (I think) e-type once. He showed me under the bonnet: that huge space was just packed with engine. Never seen anything like it! It really seemed like there were two engines there.

Saw that A8 in B'lore a few days ago. Nice, understated car.

Nice picture Manish!

that Jaguar is a work of art on wheels. It truly is exquisite. Harks back to Jaguar's true hay-days. The quintessential rival to the equally gorgeous and brilliant Aston Martin DB5.

There is a nice black E-Type in Bangalore and I'd met the owner at a classic car rally at the Taj West End. Lively chap he was and a beauty she was! A marriage made in heaven!

If you ever have a chance to post a picture of the engine, then I will be able to relive my astonishment!

It is a V12 judging by the body panels, wipers etc. To make a 3.8/4.2 into a flabby E Type V12 would be a tremendous devaluation.

Note the 6 cyl E types are classics. The V12 is also one but not at the level of the 6 cyl. It was weighed down with the V12 which made it less balanced and it was built during an appalling era of Jaguar - poor industrial management etc.

That doesn't surprise me: I can't forget how the space under that large bonnet was so crammed with machinery!
