Ran into 2 classy BMWs today - a maroon new generation 640d around noon & the latest M5 late in the afternoon. Coincidentally both were HR registered. Managed pictures of just the M5 as I spent all the time drooling over the 640d who was stuck in traffic in the lane next to me. The M was a couple of cars ahead of me but the roars of the engine. Yeah!

By the way, are these cars just visiting Chennai?

I once spotted the previous generation Wide body M5 in front of Saravana Bhavan, Pondy Bazaar. Guess that was the Saravana bhavan's owner's car!

Both are company/demo cars & i guess they were in Chennai for the Annual Track day of Autocar.
Hormazd Sorabjee tweeted this pic a couple of days back.

Btw, that 550-2 demo car is listed for sale at Auto Hangar,Mumbai along with the ex-Chennai Granturismo.Saw the ad in todays TOI.

At our annual track day in Sriperembudur with @narainracing. Some really good cars this year.

Spotted this Jag XJL this afternoon near Skywalk.

Spotted a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid(American version i believe) near Gill nagar, Nelson manickam road.
This is the second time i'm spotting this car in my area. It was coming in the opposite direction so, couldn't take the pictures. So, here are the two pictures of the car that i took from the internet to give you guys a clear idea of what i spotted!





PS: It had a sticker on the boot saying "LEFT HAND DRIVE"

Honda did sell the Civic Hybrid here in India but that should be RHD.
