+ 1.

the front looks great - but the rear needs to shed all that chrome. It looks like the chrome on the tours and travels innovas!

cheers

That's a huge wearhouse! Seems like the 3 and X5 are getting new alloys!
Most 5's are the highline version, large inventory of the new colors- space grey and cashmere silver

I've heard of this warehouse. Some top end import models are also stored in an overhead garage at the BMW dealer. I've been trying to get an ok for a tour of the BMW factory here in Chennai. I hope i get lucky.Nice pics.

Thanks, guys!

Don't think there were any Ms in the warehouse when these snaps were shot and no 7s too... the 5 looks stunning in the new colours... I feel the X5's snow flake alloys look much better than those on the white car...

Hey nickatnite, pls take me along if you get an OK for the factory visit... btw i noticed most of ur pics are shot in Nungambakkam area, do u work there?

anekho, how i wish they would give me a black 5!

If i get an ok, i hope to take a small group along. Most of my pics are from Nungambakkam as it's easy to spot cars there. I just drive by and click, that's all.Like this imported 5 series in the pic. Why do you want to know where i work?. Nosy, aren't we?.

. forget about it. good question.the driver told me that it was imported. also, based on trim levels, i could agree with him. check out my 'driving through chennai' thread. i've posted a pic of an india assembled 5 series in the last page. check it out and then take a look at this one.

This model (~ 1991) of Toyota MR2 (Mid-engined Rear wheel drive 2) was then nicknamed as "The Baby Ferrari" as it was the closest thing to a Ferrari that could ever be driven!

Some interesting comments from reviews on the web,
  • If you can find one in good shape, it will be the buy of a lifetime.
  • AWESOME Baby Ferrari 355!
  • How can anything this cheap be this good!
  • Ferrari styling, very reliable, fast and fun
  • A whole load of sports car for very little money!
  • A work of art with the looks of a Ferrari, but not the price tag
  • It will embarrass cars costing 10 times its price!!
  • Poor man's Ferrari!
