Saw a black Porsche Carrera 4S on my way to work today. Managed to take 2 pics which will be posted tomorrow.

Car was driven by a young sardar and was heading from Guindy flyover to Kotturpuram via Raj Bhavan and Anna University.

The porsche looked absolutely stunning, had brown interiors and was driven in a very sedate and composed manner until a clean open spot opened up. Loved the wide butt and the wide tires. Couple of us bhpians met up on sat night and this car was mentioned by headers. Had no idea i would spot it so quickly.

On a lighter note, my colleague who was hitching a ride with me, flipped over in his seat looking at the porsche and mentioned "Look... a porsche 4S. 4S means 4 stroke na?" And i was

Saw a black Merc CL 55 with AMG badging yesterday near my office on the OMR. It was followed by an escort vehicle which was an imported van (something like the toyota innova but smaller). The merc had huge alloys but RHS front wheel was all black (must be the spare). Rest of the wheels were silver.

Well it was a small van (import) with the bonnet curving or stooping very low like in the estillo. I recollect seeing a honda/toyota which looked pretty similar (In blore long back), but it was sporting a different logo / badging (not the usual toyota symbol or the "H" in the honda). Wasnt as long as the innova but could be of the same height.

Regarding the CL, I only got to see the side and the rear view.

Its a previous generation Toyota Previa, or Jap Market Lucida. The CL is a previous gen as well. But an authentic CL55 AMG. The car was for sale somewhere up north and has been featured on TBhp.

Couple of days back I stopped for breakfast at a hotel on the ECR on my way to Pondy.. Just then the Porsche, along with 2 bikes(A 650 Suzuki Tourer and a Harley VRod) dropped by..

Saw another Hummer yday. Guess that makes it one H3 and one H2 in Chennai. This one was black too.

for all you classic mini fans in chennai ..... there is an old red mini in a lane opposite citi centre. it belongs to a charted accountant i guess. parked alongside the mini was a maroon rolls royce silver spur.

its certainly a case of david and goliath side by side!!

Spotted this yellow Gallardo today morning while driving to do some beach-roading with the guys(g2g)...i'm not the only one who has taken pics of this car...i'm sure others have better pics to post!....

Saw the bottom of this scraping through the road as it got down from the petrol pump. But the driver didn't seem to mind too much.

A new RR phantom was delivered in Chennai on saturday.. the car shares garage space with a bentley arnage, 4 porsche's, new s class and a couple of vintage cars..

was the car registered, or is it only a demo car shown on ndtv?
