Make this your daily drive. It meant to be one.
Good power, luxurious and elegant looks (better than the new SL).

YES! FGT! If I have my way - that'll be my next car in the next 2-3 years or so. I cant wait!

The modular V8 in that thing is quite a strong piece. I think you should buy one and make a pit stop at Heffner's performance shop!

Quick note to all: Please note that the GT40 talks about the original car from the late 60s. The new one is the Ford GT (no 40) - pet peeve

And one more thing.
Is the 3rd pedal a foot rest?
Because it is an automatic and it can't be a clutch.

No it isnt.
See the diagram on the left of the gearbox.
Just like it is there in other automatic mercs and bmws.

well i dont know about the speed limit .. and yes the third pedal is a footrest..
as a matter of fact i havent even touched the AMG/Sport button as yet.. the car in normal settings itself seems overpowered and very raw..

Obviously
With a 5.5 Litre engine ( Thats what it is i suppose ) you wont want to go into the performance settings especially on Indian roads. As soon as you floor the pedal to the metal, the next red light or stoppage or traffic comes up.
