Any pictures of Mr. Tata's cars? None in this thread so far. Any other thread that has pictures.

Come on buddy.Tell us what car it is.

Also does anyone have pictures of his classics?

This is good news. Lots of it. Chairman of the biggest business empire in India is such a good soul himself. Hats off to him.
Lots of new information here too. Never thought about these before.
Btw, does the S class mentioned above belong to the latest generation?

< OT> I have had this experience, quite a few years back, from a seemingly high functionary of TVS motors. He rolled down the window of his car (at a traffic signal) and inquired about the 2nd Gen Fiero I was riding. I had overtook him doing 70-80 kph. Apparently was happy with my response and with a sense of pride said that he was a part of team that has designed the product. Didn't get his name though.

I understand how it feels exactly after designing products that are used by other people now

cheers

Bodyguards?? with Mr. Ratan Tata? I have yet to see him with them, I am very close to his place of work, home, taj. and have always seen him get off a car alone with no other car following etc. Most recently Ive seen him with a 211 black 280cdi and offcourse he does own the convertible caddy'05 model. He has been a lover of American cars in his earlier days, and was regular at Apex Garage-Mr. Sethna, where my cars also used to be maintained.

You see, the bodyguards were there to keep people away from the car and not Mr. Tata himself! The Merc's were leading the way with the Safari's tailing.

I have been to Bombay House a lot of times for work related issues. Mr. Tata uses a dark blue E-class Mercedes most of the time. I have seen his car on all my visits there!!!

Was he driving a Palio ? i don't know why you need proof to just say something. You are not accusing anyone here anyway.

If the car's already been spotted in public then I don't see why you can't mention it's name.
