I liked the front, but the rear looks completely out of place. Wonder what was on the designers mind when he penned the lines

It's stated to be a 400 SEL...the mammoth sedan.

DC the "Destroyer of Cars". Why would someone want to handover a merc to DC to experiment his artistic inadequacies.?

I take it you are referring to the W126 series.. In which case it would be a 300, 420 or 500 SEL.

hehhe, had an encounter of the weird kind with this car! While comming down the south ex flyover, i spotted this monstrosity and couldn't really understand what it was. Definitely grabs attention cuz apart from mine, the new aston martin in town had also slowed down to check out what this thing was. Now that i know that it was actually "the tank" i feel real sorry!

A good way to spoil a beautifull car. Why cant they concentrate on the engine instead and little on the exterior, like Brabus and other tuners.

Wouldn't agree to stock w140 to be the best looking Benz ever, (In my opinion it looked bland in comparison to the W126, from the rear the car actually looks very un-Merc like)

Interesting! The new Maxima launched last week has similar headlight treatment and shape.

When did DC execute this project?....or rather when did he execute this poor thing.
