Spotted today:

5 Audi A6's (3 Black 1 white and 1 grey)
1 Bentley Flying Spur (Black)
2 Grey S-classes
1 brown/dull maroon A4(new gen)
1 Raddish Q5 (at the office the flying spur was parked in)
1 Karnataka reg.d faded-goldish Lexus land cruiser
1 Black BMW x3
1 Grey Porsche Cayenne

1 Showroom model Porsche Cayenne(New gen) parked outside the Porsche Showroom
2 5 series'(All new gen, 1 white, 1 grey)
4 E-Classes (all new gen again, 1 brownish/maroon, 2 black, 1 white)
2 White Q7's (Cannot confirm whether I saw the same one again)


And unsurprisingly, all spotted in or near the jubilee hills & banjara hills locales.

Sorry for the no pics guys, didn't consider these photo-worthy as most are usual run-of the mill cars in such vicinities....

@dee-pac: Even the Bentley's have become way too common, no wonder our towns called the Bentley Capital of our country. Everytime I enter Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills or some other Uptown areas I could spot a couple of them. Too bad I am yet to come across a Super Sports or a Mulsane in town, or are there any in hiding ?

Sir, Are you sure it was a Cayman Turbo ? It must have been a badged one cause there is no such thing as a Cayman Turbo, there's just a normal Cayman and a S Variant. Or maybe it had a Turbo Kit on it. Any porsche expert could confirm this.

Yes,this wonderful machine gave me company at a traffic signal for good 30secs,the driver was quite cheerful as well and gave me a when i was ogling at his beauty.

Indeed, I've seen more Bentley Flying Spurs than Tata Arias. No joke!

@dee-pac: Lol yeah ! But the scene here has dried down a lot, and I mean like a lot ! Several factors including the T factor by a far extent has attributed to it. Sparing a few and the Bugatti Veyron, No major new exotics have landed in town off lately. The Veyron has provided a much needed fresh lease of life into the scene. Pretty exited about spotting one on our streets.

Edit: Watch out for a Spanking new Red R8 V10 !

Yeah that's pretty true....I spent nearly my entire day roaming around jubilee hills and banjara hills (That wasn't the sole purpose of roaming though LOL), I hoped to see something unique, but the spotted cars are quite ubiquitous! There used to be a time when the word Bentley meant exclusive LOL. Perhaps it's just Hyderabad killing that name?

Though the Hyderabad car scene seems to be stagnant.., I'm hearing and noticing about some imports in other parts of the state too! A few months ago I read a newspaper article which said someone from Nizamabad bought a Porsche 911!

Vijayawada and Guntur are the only cities in AP after Hyderabad that have the highest concentration of "exotics".

I've personally seen these in Vijayawada(all Vijaywada registered):
White S-class
Black Q7
Black E-Class(very old, perhaps pre-year 2000 model)
Black 7 Series(Old gen, chris bangle trunk type)
Grey A6
Grey 3-series
Grey CLS (cannot confirm whether it was a Vijayawada car, but it's AP regd)
Jaguar XJ ( Belongs to a vijayawada based industrialist, it has TN plates but it's used primarily in Vijaywada)


I have also noticed that Guntur has a pretty remarkable concentration of Toyota Fortuners and Volkswagens(Jettas and Passats) .

Yeah, you just got to be at the right place at the right time bro. Try snapping some nice shots of the LP640 before it gets replaced with a Bigger Bull, going by my sources word its gonna happen soon !

Anyways Hyderabad's First R8 in Scorching Red colour has just got Hotter ! It has been made the First Super Charged R8 of the country ! Good to see people getting their beauties tuned to an extent.
