There is a new 434 horse-power 4.7 V8 GranTurismo S in the city. Its a Black one and apparently delivered on 21st April, 2011. Any one spotted it yet?

Nope it wasn't infront of DC's home. This Fiat 500 belongs to someone else. And also all of DC's rides are either AP09 or AP10 registered, this ones a Tolichowki RTO registered one.

Its 440 HP and the 4.7 V8 engine is standard for the Maserati GTS and GTS Automatic. I would not entirly believe what is said in that post you are refferring too. None the less if not a GTS a GT might be there or none whatsover.

The car in the Top Gear episode that's put through its paces along with the Panamera and the Rapide, is NOT a GranTurismo S. It's the 4-door Quattroporte GTS(?). Both cars share a number of components.

However, the car in question here, is the GranTurismo GTS. And there is a yellow one, in New Delhi I think. Great looking car, but not my choice of shade.

Well if you mean a Maserati Gran Turismo S, then there are plenty of them in the country already notably a couple of them in Delhi, around 3-4 in Mumbai, one in Goa and many more.

And the comparo you have mentioned could be the Rapide and Panamera with the Quattroporte GTS, not the GranTurismo S (in short GTS). I guess there are more than a few Quattroporte GTS in the country.

the delhi ones, I saw(i think) both of the Gran turismo's, both in khan market area!
one in black, which i saw only once.
MIddle aged gent driving it, and looked about 5-6 days old(around a month or so back), and man was i envious!

and the other is beautiful shade of blue, just yummy, which apparently is driven ONLY on the khan market front road, everyday, between 5 and 8!
damn loud, i can hear it even when i have 4 blocks of apartments btween my room and that road!

Lets put aside the speculation about the GT S for sometime as none of us have spotted the Car yet. If their Exists one then pictures of it would land up sooner or later on this thread.

Spotted Black Jag XJ "AP9 CC 005X" entering Troop Bazaar. Forget taking a picture, it is a hurclean task to drive in that lane. Heavy Traffic + Touch Screen Phone + Avenger, a bad combination for taking pics in traffic.

Oh no that's pretty rural. It's like a modern village all the way North of Hyderabad and Secunderabad . The whole "city"(It's just a big village IMHO) is not even as big as a suburb of Hyderabad.


Recently TOI printed an article on the increased spending on foreign cars, If I can recall correctly someone from nizamabad or karimnagar bought a 911! Is that why you're asking?
