It is quite possible that i am wrong but I have seen the KA registered white X6, it was the diesel variant with the M-kit. It was getting a service at Navnit motors.

If it was KA51 registered, then its one and the same, maybe it keeps shuttling between both the Cities as baleno7811 has mentioned earlier.

"The crowd outside the Chowmahalla Palace on Tuesday was not there to admire the residence of the Nizam of Hyderabad, splendid though it is, but to ogle the beauty parked outside. The 100-year-old Rolls- Royce Silver Ghost, painted a royal yellow and with an estimated price tag in excess of $4M, was the cynosure of all eyes. The celebrated and exclusive car maker, Rolls-Royce, completes its century and what better place to celebrate such a landmark than the Chowmahalla Palace. The first Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost was imported into India from the Rolls Royce factory in Great Britain by the then Nizam Osman Ali Khan Asaf Jah VII in 1911.

Esra Jah, who has been the key figure in the restoration of the Chowmahalla and Falaknuma palaces, told assembled media persons that the Chowmahalla Palace was not going to be converted into a five-star hotel as has been the fate of many royal palaces in the country, but a couple of rooms would be kept furnished for special guests.

Of Turkish origin, Esra is the wife of Mukarram Jah, grandson of the seventh Nizam Osman Ali Khan, the last Nizam of Hyderabad. She has announced proudly that the Chowmahalla Palace is the only building in Hyderabad to win a Unesco heritage conservation award.

Unveiling her plans to develop Hyderabad and Chowmahalla Palace as a “vintage automotive destination”, Esra said that two more vintage cars belonging to the family will be restored and all three of them, more than 100 years old, will participate in the Cartier Travel with Style Concours d’Elegance being held in Mumbai this year. It may be recalled that the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Throne Car bagged the ‘Best of Class Prize’ in the Rolls-Royce Class, and ‘Best of Show Concours d’Elegance Prize’ in Delhi in March 2011.

Mr G. Kishan Rao, director of Chowmahalla Palace, said that the Barker-bodied Silver Ghost was built to the order of the sixth Nizam and delivered to him in December 1911. The original body was painted in a rich canary yellow with gold mountings and interiors were of gold silk and brocade upholstery with lace and silk curtains. All the body hardware, lights and the roof dome, with its fleur-de-lys pattern were finished in silver. It was later re-modified to reflect a 1930s style by the Nizam’s Railway Workshop, in 1934. The Rolls-Royce, which was used sparingly just for ceremonial occasions, has done just 356 miles in the last 100 years!"

The very same. It was KA-51 registered. Had to hide the number in the pics. It is very much a X6 diesel.

In the last two months I saw the Phantom, an S500, an Autobiography, a Vogue, a Disco4, a GL, a TLC, 2 XF and 2 Beetles! And in bikes an R1, a CBR600, a Hayabusa and an Iron883! Also my friends told me that one of the seniors got his white AMG Merc! It might be a C class with an AMG kit 'coz they said the car was white and 2 out of the 3 white C63's in town are fake, not sure though!
