yeah well auctioned off i meant that there is only one Golden one which was seized by the customs.

I think that was silver earlier. And used to be present at all Speed Runs in Mumbai.

the silver one which used to be present in the speedruns was owned by someone on the forum and had a HR registration....I am told the chrome one is owned by DC's son and it has a MH registration.

The chrome one is the same silver 1 that used to come for the earlier speedruns . It was driven by DC's son Bonito at speedrun as the owner of the sl55amg was driving his M5 ( White m5 with M6 rims )

Yes. The registration was changed to MH and is now chrome.

Both the Chrome SL55 and the M5 from the Speedrun have aftermarket Einessmann exhausts.

The growl from the SL after the exhaust upgrade is to die for.

Nope...Only the S,E and C are assembled in India. SL,CLS,SLK are full imported(CBU).

The merc cl has been launched , dont know whether any one will buy it when the sl with the folding roof is cheaper , i think other than AB some other bollywood actor has a silver sl55 it was featured in a tv show some years ago , i had also seen a red sl500 in south delhi
