Nice to see the LP700 out almost everyday. Afterall, only GJ's roads deserve such cars.

Regards,
Seeing this right after seeing a CFS. Pretty damn ugly for a facelift. IMO Bentley messed up a real elegant and regal looking car.

I think its because of those ugly rims and the boring white colour that you are saying the above. My guess is with some better rims, and maybe a different colour it would look far better.

Is it a facelift or a new gen Flying Spur? It's not just a facelift, I think. It's a pretty major update. Probably the new gen. They've also dropped the 'Continental' badge for the 4-door variant, although they share the same platform.

The second pic sure makes her look like a cross between a rolls Royce and BMW..but still i kind of like it. As Akshay has mentioned a better colour and different wheels would make it more appealing.

@speedy

stole the thoughts right out of my mouth

it looks like a cross between the rolls and the earlier 5 (the bonnet/fender line)

Its a new gen if you call it. I used the term facelift because it doesnt have any major changes underskin, just cosmetic changes making it look ugly.

Now I know Wikipedia isn't the most reliable source, but this is what it says:

"Changes include increasing engine performance (from Continental GT Speed), ZF eight-speed transmission, redesigned body with lower, wider appearance..

..new body structure includes reinforcement to the B-posts, sills and front crossmembers together with deformable components in the floorpan for optimal load transfer; a deployable aluminium bonnet that includes both new reinforcement panels and deformation elements, 600 new interior parts, lightweight acoustic underfloor panels, side glazing and both front and rear screens made in acoustic glass, heating and ventilation system with a new Thermostatic Expansion Valve (with optional Climate Boost function), new 19" tyre with 12% relative increase in sidewall height, suspension spring rates are softened front and rear by 10% and 13% respectively, anti-roll bars softened by 13 per cent and 15 per cent to improve single wheel impact absorption, suspension lever bushes all-round softened by at least 25 per cent for reduced road surface-induced noise and vibration, revised damper electronic control (CDC).."

This doesn't sound like merely cosmetic changes. This new Flying Spur is a proper update.

EDIT: Also, I don't think it's ugly. I prefer the look of the new Flying Spur. It no longer looks like a stretched Continental GT, ergo, it now has an identity of its own.

+1. This what I was thinking. The older Flying Spur did look like a stretched CGT, which didn't really look good. The new CFS looks fresh & different than a CGT. The sharper lines make it look better than the previous gen in my opinion.

Had a pleasant stay in Ahmedabad. Saw a few nice cars too, starting with a good old Toyota MR-S in yellow and a white 640d Coupe on the first day. The new Cayman S in red and a signature blue XKR-S were sitting on their respective showroom floors. Also spotted a fine E93 M3 in white. Surprisingly, the Rolls showroom was empty and the surroundings felt a tad shabby to host a brand of such stature.
