Wonderful review . Considering its the japanese model, does this GTR have its 112mph limiter removed?

Well done DKG that was one hell of an experience you had there being in one of the most desirable cars on sale today. Great pictures as well to compliment the fantastic report. I've said it before I'll say it again. You wont know what a supercar is unless you experience it yourself. Its something which cant be described in words.

That's got to be a truly special Sunday morning. All of us could use friends like Harish . Incredible car & a fitting drive report, DKG. That monster performance impresses me as much as its dual personality....the 6th gear statement was far out. Thanks for sharing the experience in such detail.

P.S. Nice garage. Do I see a bit of the LC 200 on the right?

Good observation! The LC 200, A6 and the Subaru Imprezza are with Anand who is also a car buff to the core. Not satisfied with an already crazy 2 litre Imprezza he recently imported a 2.5 block and upgraded the car rendering it manic. Harish too is a TLC fan with a couple in his stable.

Holy ! That engine bay is chock-full!

Great pics, great car, but I only like the look of it from the rear, the other angles just don't work for me!

Great report..excellent car. There's a reason why this car can never be manual..If you've read up on the GtR inside story. It tells you very clearly that the gear shifts are so quick that if it had to be a manual we'd never be able to shift it out on time thus disrupting the twin clutch shift system and killing the whole purpose of having the godzilla.

Totally agree. The dual clutch gearboxes need the electronics and the paddle shift...and they are all about lightning fast gear changes.

I was refering to the Ferrari I would order someday...that I want in manual

You lucky guy!! If I'm permitted to use some well known endearing expletives here !!

The review/report was too good. Thanks for sharing the experience with us.

Really appreciate your friend handing over a car like that to you as well.

Thumbs up

Reading your writeup gave me goose bumps. Just as fast as she picked up speed. Thank you. For remembering to share. In your place, I might have even forgotten to breathe. Just looking at her here on a PC screen has got me so excited. You drove her. WOW.

PS: Just remembered a dialogue from the movie, "The Italian Job" - "I trust everyone. It's the devil inside them I don't trust."
Rings true, doesn't it!
