Do we have credible information that the car is in for testing and not really a personal import. Never heard of any plans of launching the car in the past.

I dont think the Z4 needs to be homologated since it costs over $40,000.

This is seriously going to outsell the SLK, TT and the Boxster! I was at the workshop the other day to get my car fixed and they were telling me they are getting soo many calls for the z4, the price which he showed me on the car was 59 lac tho

Even i thought so cyrus, but did a google just now ,they compared 4 cars, boxter, z4,tts and a basic corvette and guess which scored the best..THE BOXTER with pdk and launch control, faster and better road handling than all,though the vett had the highest bhp

On the last fifth gear episode, Jason Plato (current BTCC) and Tiff Needell (Ex-F1) go head to head with a boxter and Z4. The verdict was that the boxter is still a better car inspite of the Z4's updation.

I've seen it a couple of times around the ARAI hills. It's the meanest looking car I've ever seen! It looks smashing on road.

For the looks have to hand it to the Z4, its a killer. Handling and Power the Boxster gets it. I wonder how the Z4 M would be, the program rated it as a total monster and a Boxster beater. 56 or 59 lakhs is on the higher side but yet there would be people queing up for her.

Beautiful pictures. I happened to catch a program on the National Gerographic Channel on Super Factories where they showed in great detail how the Z4 is built from scratch. Boy oh boy! It was a beautiful work of art.

It is claimed that over 9 kilos of weight is added to the Z4 from the various layers of paint.

All in all, this will be a great car, if BMW does plan to bring it into India.

with the exception of those ugly front grille the car looks very nice
under 60 lac for this machine looks like a fair bet
