More details about this car, it's a 2002-model 320i saloon, which I had seen before the M3 badge was pasted on it. If I think hard enough I could remember the number of it too but it eludes me right now. The reasons why it's NOT an M3 are as follows:

Hope this clears your doubt.
Nice yaar. You are absolutely right.

Iraghava is right just the fact that its not a 4 door means not an M3.

Its seems to be a relatively nice 330i with the M-Sport kit which is a lovely car in itself to be proud of and with enough snob value. I don't see why this person needs to insult the car and be embarassed about it to turn into a pseudo M3. Of which the badges are an ///M Badge and a 3 seperate. Just Wrong!

Oops ! didnt see iraghava's post. So guess its a 320i with the m-sport bumpers.

@ PMDaWG: Your friend's M3 rocks. Im sure the phoenix yellow had to be a special order cause they had discontinued it post '03 if Im not mistaken. But fabulous taste to take that effort.

P.S. SilverStar and MALU30000 seem to be the same person haha exact writing style and similar stolen pic. STRIKE 2.

Nope sir, it is a boggo spec 320i with the stock bumpers. No bodykit of any kind just that M badge.

No Sir, that is an M-Sport Kit. This is the stock bumpers on the pre-facelift E46 ..front and back

... and these are M-Sport bumpers which were earlier optional only on 330i's but then trickled down to all other versions too.

.. also I feel like this car has been featured in Autocar India in the used car section. It has 5-spoke 16 inch alloys and definitely the M-Sport front end.

Gentlemen, please keep in mind that all E90s (well 318,325,320d) seen in India are made in Chennai and therefore cannot be categorised under supercars and imports.

Post BMW's 3 and 5 series rolled out in India

German premium carmaker BMW today rolled out its first '3 series' sedan from its plant near Chennai. These cars in this series start at price tag of Rs 26.7 lakh.

BMW, the world's largest player in the premium segment, would follow this launch with the '5 series' in May. The company, whose 20 million plant can produce 1,700 units a year on a single shift, plans to sell 1,200 units of the sedans this year.

The product mix would be 50:50 between the 3 series and 5 series. The 5 series starts from Rs 37 lakh and goes up to a whopping Rs 42 lakh.

The Indian plant, with an annual capacity of 1,700 vehicles, will make 3 and 5 series BMWs exclusively for the Indian market.
