As far as my knowledge goes aadix. Two H1's had come to the docks. One yellow and the other Red belonging to Film personalities. These cars were returned on grounds of them being a security hazards. This was told to me by a close friend of one of the Film Person. There were no other H1's brought in, but i might be wrong. I shall search the Gypsy thread like pointed out by V12.

I cant seem to find the thread on Ronnies widebody Gypsy. There is a pic of the Gypsy alongside the H1. There was also one H1 which is owned? by Team-bhpian Extremepower.

Edit : Found this thread on one of the H1's :

As far as i know the H1 is not available for export from the US, a condition that was set by the US govt. It may or may not still be enforced.

cheers.

i don't think there's any rule like that. if you see on ebay there are many h1 for like $50,000 and they are also willing to ship any where in the world.

are roads in india wide enough to drive a h1 ? how about expressways ??

I saw the same hummer or look alike (not sure) yesterday, actually 2 of them, while on my way to Delhi from Jaipur (NH8). I presume they were on their way up to the tank country to be tested for the army.

I have some pics that I took of them. Should I post them here or in The Indian Car Scene section?

As they had TATA logo boldy flashed on the side, I presume TATA is making/assembling them in India to be used by the army?

If I am not mistake I think xtreme power has 2 or 3 H1 hummers. I got a ride in one of them a year back and we had done a little bit of off roading and it performed like a monster! The best off roader I have seen.

I have a video of xtreme power's H1 climbing a 3 feet wall but he has told me not to upload it , so i will respect the owners privacy.
