| BHPian | I have a friend who claims that a chap in Chickmagalur has the F40. For that car, i' d say it's a tall claim, cause it and the F50 are rarer than the Enzo. 249 units, if im right. And the ground clearence plus maintainance is damn difficult to manage. So only way of believing is through pics. But all i can say is, it is the most beautiful Ferrari (F40). Even perhaps the last one with soul. The rest became too common. IMO. |

| If there is an F40 in bangalore , then how do those guys manage to move the car on the roads because the ground clearance is almost nothing. That might be the reason that the car has been spotted vary rarely. |

| Senior - BHPian | JayR, spot on, Chikmagalur it is. IIRC, I was told it was shipped, or rather trucked into the town around 2004. Syed, we already have Ferraris, drag spec Supras, Lamborghinis, and even Skodas dropped to 80 mm. If these can make it, I'm sure the F40 can! |

| BHPian | not saying that it is impossible to import an f40 into india, or even chickamagalur for that matter. If it was an f430, or even 599, i'd kind of believe, cause of the rich estate owners there. one even being the owner of a huge cafe conglomerate. but the f40 is a rare car even in america. It's like those fussy, old school supercars, which make more sense only on the track. Maybe there is, or maybe there isnt one in india. But i'd love to see pics anyway, cause that would be cool. ![]() oh, also waiting for the awesome sunday spotting pics bhpians will post soon! |

| Guys ok ok I know these 2 are not comparable but well heres the story: Q7 - the s-line with panoromic roof is working out to 75 on road 1. fully loaded - but no Rear Seat entertainment and no integrated phone XC90 - is working out to 55 on road 1. fully loaded - but doesnt have th adaptable suspension. But the main point being is the Q7 worth paying 20 lacs more than the xc90 which is also as comfortable as the Q7 and has the same functionality. Request all the experts to suggest. The volvo is disel too. Thanks ![]() |
