That Elise is really a nice catch but it seems to be badly maintained which hurts much.
Hope the owner tries to restore the car.

I think this Elite was discarded at the Hudson Circle car dealer's place many years ago.

That was an Elan. The only front wheel drive Lotus ever.

Regarding the Elite. The gentleman who owns this must be in his 70's at least. My guess is the car is not being used much. In the 80's, it used to be used on weekends and for an ice cream at ice and spice

I do not think that it is an Elan.

The one in the picture is surely not an Elan but an Elite.
Here is an Elite II (It was a four seater)

@Preetam: I think Ajith was refering to the car which was there near Hudson Circle, not the one posted by aditbelw.

Yes , Ajmat's post clearly means that he was referring to the Elan at Hudson Circle.

Ajmat,

Could you shed some light on the red import that has been parked in the petrol bunk below the Richmond Circle flyover, off Lal Bagh road? From what I can remember, the rear half looks very similar to the Elite II that's been posted by Preetam on this page.

@Unknownsatan, Manishasrani : Sorry my bad. The quoted post in Ajmat's Post read Elite and Ajmat's post read Elan, which completely got me off my track and my brain perhaps.
