Actually, this is a carrera S with a GT3 aero kit, and "RS" is the owners initials.

Saw a white X6 near Empire Hotel yesterday afternoon. It had lovely looking 21 inch rims, but the profile was 325/30 for the rear and 285/35 for the front!
They were the same as the wheels on this car. Pic attached for reference. They were original BMW accessories. Just checked the price and they are over $5000

Also saw a greyish Range Rover(pre-facelift and rooneyfication) and a white Fiat 500 near Christ College.

RC has three of them, and then you have two F430 Spyders (a grey and a red) and one(?) red F430 coupe, not to mention VJM's 328GTS. Manish could help us with the count.
i was talking about 'new' ones.

Yeah,

I should have known that you're aware of the official count.

Spotted a gorgeous grey Bentley Continental GT Speed in front of ESI Hospital in Indiranagar, the previous evening.

Spotted a Silver(I think( Nissan GT-R with a PB registration near Hockey Club in Richmond Town. No pics though.

Then a Red Porsche Cayman at the entrance to Mission Road. Forgive the pathetic picture quality!

Also a Porsche Cayenne GTS

Absolutely loved the rims, would love to see them on more X6s. Was it black or hypersilver in the car you saw? Didn't click any snaps?

5k$ is "very reasonable" for rims nowadays. My friend bought BMW Accessory rims for his E66 7'er for 13k$

Nah didn't take any snaps. My phone camera is worse than useless. I think the owner has an office or something there. You can probably see it there often. I saw it Saturday afternoon, around 3:30

I doubt.

AFAIK, the Y spoke rims are an optional accessory for BMW X5/6 in India.

These are the standard rims on offer on the X6 X-Drive 50i V8 Petrol

And these are the common Y spoke rims BMW India offers.

The above mentioned rims are different and I have never seen that on an X5/6 in India till date. May be they offer it as standard abroad and more importantly none of the brands I believe will do the foolishness of offering those 20+' rims as a standard fitment for the Indian market unless the buyer ticks the box. Just FYI

Wasn't aware of that. It was a 3.0d, btw. But its quite stupid to offer 21 inch rims, for Indian driving conditions, methinks

EDIT: Just saw Scorcher's post. I think he's right about it not being offered in the Indian-spec X5/6.

I happen to see this unique vehicle parked in front of New Generation School - Next to Sagar automobiles, near M N Krishna Rao park - everyday. It looks like a modified Jonga or 1 ton. Not sure whose it is. But looks very interesting. Will get down one day to ask. Took picture in my Blackberry yesterday.

Not sure if this belongs to any BhPian or if it is featured in this thread earlier.
