Supercars and Imports in Bangalore - Page 8 - Team-BHP

day before yesterday (sunday) at around lunch time, we just stepped out of our house and guess what ??

8 superbikes rumbling down our road !! 8 !! Abt 6 of them were 2004 and later models of R1s, Gixxers, Busas, and at least one Ninja (didnt notice which one 12 or 6 ).....

Didnt actually count how many of each..but there was at least 3 R1s and 1 Busa....what a sight....the whole road was rumbling....

And of course people were standing around to stare. I wish there had been a traffic jam. I would have got the camera out and taken some pics...

Yeah its a silver beauty!!! BlueRaven and myself spotted it the other day, pulled up and parked right beside us ! Still hadnt been regd yet.

hey i spotted a brand new slk 500 in koramangala...no number plate yet...black in color..but its covered with some white layer...looks really neat thoh...damn low..i have taken pics also..was gonna post them today but somethin wrong with my cell..will post asap..cheers!

i doubt that bro... unless the original BBS wheels (golden color) and low GT wing spoiler were replaced... nevertheless a lovely machine....

Relaxed Sunday lunch at Khoshy's...few drinks..talking to the guy sitting next table..he's having toast and mince..

I come out and see this..

My all time loved model...

Same guy comes out..open the the door...activates the roof switch...goes with a mild deep hum...

It was HR registration....

hey this merc was at my place jus day before night..owner is my dads friend..yea its a sl55 amg..and he had it imported...cost him 1.45 crores...of which 65 was for the duty..it sounds absolutely sweet..he stays on cubbon road

Looks like an SL500 with the AMG kit.

Its a SL55 AMG. The tail-lights shout that. SL500 has a full red taillight, while a SL55 has a black stripe (see pics below). Also it has quad exhausts, AMG bumpers.

Also notice that the "AMG" from the AMG-badge is removed but the /// is left. Its mostly looks like the same car from the Mumbai Speed Runs.

Question is "What is the reason for that??!!"

Seen it. Owner was driving, top down, in Saturday evening traffic. Very sweet. Behind was a new BMW 530d, KL reg, black.

Unbelievable, I'll never understand some people. I'm just left confused.

My first thought was an AMG bodykit, but so many of you seem to have heard the hum, which you don't find that easily in the 500.

Never heard of anyone debadging a higher-spec model, and replacing the badges with that of a lower spec. Ha!
