Yes that's the one. The owner was kind enough to enthrall us with that wonderful roar of the engine.

Is this a manual? Since I felt the difficulty to quickly shift down in front of a pothole. But this was my first R8 spotting. Lovely.

Spotted the same red-chrome R8 on Dickenson road this evening. Astonishing is the word for it. And I have to say, it looks way better than the regular chrome R8 V8.

Initially, I assumed that its the same R8, but then I noticed that it was a V10 and not the run-on-the-mill V8.

Spotted the Chrome Red R8 V10 an hour odd ago at UB City.

One stunning, stunning car. Looks way better than the Regular Chrome R8 as Suhaas said. Looks wicked.

One pic from my side. Minus autofocus, minus flash, plus bike headlamp plus 2 megapixels.

Yes this is a different R8. It was initially red in color as seen on the motomind fb page a few days back. And I've a feeling its a manual transmission one. Can I be correct on that ?

The color imparts a distinct look to this car and your photograph makes it look even more upmarket.

I happened to see the R8 at UB City this morning. It truly looks stunning. But on closer observation, you'll notice that the car has wrinkles all over. The bonnet even has a partition right down the middle.

This is the door handle section, notice how the wrap hasn't been stuck properly? A haphazard job. Owner will not very happy with the outcome I am sure.

And the wrinkles near the rear wheel arches. Lots of wrinkles around where the wrap ends.

I see this RX8 pretty often. It's just moved around the premises. I'd also spotted two Porsche Boxsters in the vicinity.

It's a vinyl wrap, even if it is applied perfectly the smallest amount of body flex can lead to wrinkle formation.

They have quite a few imports I guess. Regularly see an SLK standing there. Their board claimed they were luxury car dealers.

But can wheel arches and a bonnet of a car like an R8 be vulnerable to body flex? The bonnet is understandable, but wheel arches?

Every body panel of a monocoque construction based car will flex to a certain degree. Some more, some less. But they all flex.

I'm not saying that the wrap was applied properly. All I'm saying is that those may be flex wrinkles also.

Either ways we are going off topic here. We can discuss this elsewhere.

Hmmm, that would explain the wrinkles I guess. I thought of heat being a reason, but then, the engine is at the rear.

But as you said, we can take this discussion elsewhere.

Fantastic picture ashwin. To me that sort of ruins the beauty of the car. On a sidenote, you do protect the original paint by applying a wrap all over the car. Id be a very upset man to get up and see my supercar have wrinkles here n there. Any idea who has installed the wrap?
