Harley-Davidson recently concluded the latest edition of Harley Rock Riders. The festival was a great combination of music and motorcycles and provided a healthy dose of aural and visual stimulation for those at the venue.
While the main attraction for the event was headlining metal band Megadeth, Harley-Davidson also hosted the "Custom Champion" contest for 5 customization houses to showcase redesigned and modified Harley-Davidsons. Customizers brought their projects in from different parts of the country to Mumbai.
Judging the event would be Kaichiroh Kurosu - a motorcycle customizer from Japan, who has been working on Harley-Davidsons for over 20 years. You may remember him as one of the competitors in the "Ultimate Custom Build" competition, which moderator
mobike008 showcased in his super-detailed report on his trip to Japan with Harley-Davidson.

TJ Moto presented a modified Iron 883 christened "Nadia"
Nadia is based on an Iron 883, but those tyres immediately take your mind to the Forty-Eight
Small wire wheels with fat tyres really bring out the charm of the bobber theme
Even the licence plate placement is part of the design
Exhaust heat wrap adds a rustic charm. Notice the lack of a muffler? Well, let's just say this thing was L-O-U-D
Fuel tank "belted down" and encased by the frame!
Small seat held up with a mono-shock absorber
Exposed belt-drive
Side mounted speedo gauge

EIMOR Customs brought in a Street 750 named "Highway to Hell"
This bike belongs to a client who has spent well over the Street 750's sticker price in modifications
Attention grabbing yes, but may come across as garish for some. Plus sized fairing gives it the aggression of a frill-necked lizard
Stock MRF tyres
MJ and Saikat, who run EIMOR Customs, are proficient when it comes to custom paint jobs. In fact, they even did the paintwork for their fellow customizer - Godspeed
More skull livery. This is a Harley-Davidson after all
The yellow spots on the crash guard are LEDs that function as indicators
Tassles to the side
Skeletal rear view mirror
Notice only one bend pipe? That's because this one gets two individual exhaust pipes instead of the Street 750's two into one
Leather bags are functional and get carriers to prevent them from sagging while you lean into a corner. This isn't just a show bike and has been modified for long distance functionality
Soft and wide seat for long distance comfort
Handlebar is probably thicker than the Breakout's. It's set nice and wide with speakers to aid those odometer taxing trips
