Same with me, the 929 has somewhat of a fine mix of old school and new age, its the only blade i could keep gazing at for a long, long time.

Interesting observation, Raghav. Remembering Hutch ads, that makes it looks cute!

Alright boys!!
The PUIG screen is here. Hooked it on last evening. Looks SEXY!!
Bumped into kartik (fireblader) and zubin (ponappa) at carter's, and then came the bummer. Zubin pointed out that i had hooked the screen on front the outside.
To fit it from the inside, i have to remove the dials, maybe the front fairing, and then hook it on. Will drop it at the mech later today, or tommorow.

The front brake lever needs to be greased as well, and the chain has been needing to be set since a while now.
Tempted to drop at a another mech closeby than having to ride all the way to town for such little work.

Dropped the Ace' with Tony in the afternoon, just could not get myself to trust another mech with it.
The screen is hooked on, the bike looks quite racey now!!
The chain and the brake lever is lubed and set too, runs sweet.

Anku has a picture or two from last night. Will ask him to post them.
Now i can't wait to try my luck ordering another headlight cover.
Kunal, what spray could i use to shine the crash bobbins and bar ends?

So, i've been shopping bits and pieces of accessories & gear the last few weeks
Some of it should be here in a day or two, some more in a few days and the last bit by end of this month.
And, i'll just postup some pictures with the new PUIG windscreen, had completely forgotten about that.

Ofcourse the plastic will go post monsoon, who would want a blurred vision while doing three digit speeds!
The black R1 has an almost identical screen.

I knew on the official 'Indian R1'
Expected the devil cans to be better though, maybe i need to hear them more in motion. I was right behind him for a bit from carters to linking, but then we were at very low revs.

Oh yeah, they can pretty noisy at higher revs. I'm guessing they will get louder since they don't even have 500 kms on them including the first bike.

A little makeup, adnt the Thunderace has gotten' quite slick.
I finally got another unit of the headlight cover, which i mounted last night, and it quite completes the look the double bubble screen had initiated. Got the plastic off the Puig windscreen as well.
The cover hangs onto the headlamp with the use of velcro in all corners of the cover.

Alongwith the above, i even got a carbon fiber yoke protector, the machining on this is mm perfect. Perfect fit, and awesome finish, stuck this one on too last night.
To complete the carbon fiber yoke top, i have even got carbon fiber coated levers which i will have the mech setup for me when the bike goes for the much awaited September service & tuneup.

A new Filtrex oil filter too is lying in the 'to be installed' kit now.

Got all of this on tuesday night, and had just gotten over the AGV XR-2 helmet that reached me on tuesday morning, so this was quite an overkill.

The only bummer was, that we (anku, S6 and i) let the park light switched on to see the opaque nature of the headlight cover, and forgot about it. The battery charge went low, and anku jump started it in a couple of stints.
