Why are people surprised that a 2 stroke 350cc bike would post faster times than a 400cc 4 stroke? That's how it should be. The 2 strokes have a weight advantage and (technically) power advantage.
Not if it can be helped. I promise you that there will be a 4 stroke in the indian open class which will give the rd's a run for their money or better yet win. Soon Very Sooon.

apache leads in Indian four strocks. Its timimgs are even better than karizma.
