Congrats Manson,

A dumb questions probably.. but how much did this super Bike actually cost you??

Where does it stand if compared with the Hayabusa?

They belong to different categories, my fireblade is a superbike, the hayabusa is a hyper sport tourer.
For starters, the fireblade is much lighter than he hayabusa, but the busa has a more powerful and larger motor.
Ideally just readup a few reviews for both the motorcycles and you will definitely understand the vast difference in nature of both motorcycles despite one similarity, the 954 and the hayabusa like all other sportbikes are mind numbing fast.

Congratulations Manson, 954 has been my favourite Honda bikes of all time. One of the most uncommon CBRs on road. There would definitely be multiple looks of the 2 - 954s going down the road. Happy Riding man cheers:

Tojo: Lets ride Sunday, only if you're comfortable though.
Nikhil: Thanks for the good wishes, you could check thsi thread for almost regular updates.

Updates: Had dropped the blade at a mech around my place last evening to sort a little eenie weenie niggle here and there.
Work carried out:
Sort wires and front signals - done.
Engine & Fork Oil: Checked, is good, would be changed after a couple of months when required.

Keep the updates coming.

Looks like the Thunderace is quite close to your heart still, or you are riding the 954 too much and dont have the time to change your avatar.

Wowie- back after such a long time and kinda at the right time.

A very happy and very prosperous 2009 to all.
Please RiDe/Drive safely.
Watch out for those who don't.
Please do not drink and RiDE/Drive.
Always wear your Helmet/safety gear/seatbelts.

Congrats Ma(n)son paaji.
I really like Yosh pipes, especially on Hondas/Suzukis.

BTW- any chance that 3 guys on 2x 954s (iirc) visited Funky's (Bandra) sometime in the last week of 2008 or so?
The pillion rider had an 'AGV/sun+moon/46' helmet iirc, had a red Joe Rocket jacket, both of which looked quite similar to straight6's.
I even asked my friend to slow the car down to check if the same and maybe chat up for a few minutes but he whom i assumed to be straight6, looked a bit different from whatever i could glimpse within the visor area and we sped off to our other appointment.

Nope, not my fireblade for sure. It was a long, long way from Funky's till the 28th, and I haven't visited Funky's since a while.

Ya, that was us. It was Ashish(farfromnormal), Jay and me after the polymer coating on the '08 FZ6 and '08 gixxer 1000. We went there to check out a balaclava for Jay.

There was no 954 there for sure. It was just the FZ6 and the gixxer 1000.
