Navpreet: That is a great starting guide for me to knock around with the Power Commander, you will mostly be recieving a lot more pms from me in the next few weeks!

Flyingspur: Thanks mate, you live just about around my place, dropby sometime over the weekend if you wish to.

Nitin & Tojo: If someone really wants to pop a wheel, the 954 seems to be his best friend. It popped on me a couple of weeks back in the first, the other day it popped briefly in power mode while going through the first gear (the soft bump on marine drive may have caused it).
But wheelies are really not my intent, and hopefully they will not accidentally happen in future.

Ask S6 for confirmation, I highly doubt his disagreement with the above :P

Finally got the mirrors changed and some wheel stripes too. Those stripes take up all the patience at a late hour in the night.

I counted the 36 nice things at the ride yesterday, while someone around me muttered 39!

EDIT: I realised the nice things a little later, 36 of them lol

How did you get the pinstripes on? Is it like a sheet?
I'm trying to get my bike's tires painted black, and have a yello/white pinstripe on the rim.The SV650's rims are a tab bit thin,so I'l have to see how this can be done.

nice pics but I have observed this that the red bikes hardly look as good in pics as they look in person

The wheel stripes are welcome addition as they have both visual & functional value. What was wrong with RVMs?

If you look at the previous pictures you will notice Pulsar 220 mirrors aboard the 954, they were quite useless as they would vibrate a lot at high speeds and provided minimum rear view.

Thanks Dippy. Tojo will get all worked up if I mention the spot though :P

@Nitin: Following is a link to one of the many pin stripes sellers on ebay. I bought mine, and a set for the Ace' from the following link. Get some yellow ones for the SV.

eBay Motors: WHITE MOTORCYCLE WHEEL STRIPES RIM STICKERS DECAL TAPE (item 320333064879 end time Feb-15-09 14:17:50 PST)

A thing or two due in a couple of weeks. In the meantime Straight6 has some videos to post.

Dude it came up on me that night when you allowed me to try her out. Its so compact & light that a wheelie is possible at a blink of an eye.

Wicked looking bike! The red stripes give it a killer look. Nice positioning with the Team-BHP sticker.
