roads in hyderabad are really good.
most of the major roads are three lane and are re-layed every 6 months!

ur r-1 would have good roads to bike on ,buddy

If u plan to buy a 04-05 r1 then it will be quite a handful , because it needs a lot more revs to get going. The 1000rr seems a better buy, since anyway you wont be taking it out to a track frequently here, and its on the track that the R1 shines, otherwise the powerband is too peaky, for city riding.

But from the many reviews that I've read, the gixxer has the best low and mid range torque, so I think that's what you would be looking at. But outta rr and r1, I'd say the Honda. Reliable, honda name sells here, so great resale, plus the usual ease of availability of spares.

bro if i was u i wud hve preferred 1000rr coz u've got better access 2 parts n service , coz ther is a friend of mine in hyd who has a 600rr thru him i got 2 kno that honda parts r netime easily available than yamaha bcoz yamaha is still a lil xclusive whereas the honda is a well known name ..

Thanks for the input guys you will find that it did help me. I have made my mind for CBR 1000 RR. Although I still have lot of questions about maintaining it in India.
