well, now on reaching the venue, looked around and realized there are lotsa events happening in the same venue. I just strolled around the place and went clickity click.
there was gonna be a race for the vintage bikes but then later i realized there was also an open class coz this event is one of a few bike race events in US and riders come from real far off places.
still lotsa micro events to cover, dirt racing, trackday, vintage bikes/cars parade all coming up.

wow!
Nice shots of the races there. I am imagining myself sitting in the side car and leaning to kiss the road (well, almost!)

Some of the riders remind me of a case study on 'Harley Davidson' in my marketing classes!

then you gotta wait for the images from the museum. They're coming up later in this thread. but next, pix from the race. Trust me the museum is one hell of a place to visit if you're the typical biker.

@14000rpm: Thanks for sharing the pics. I was in the same museum in end-August 2009. I wanted to attend the show, but I had to come back home. Good to see a fellow Bangalorean catch it, and I second your thoughts about Leeds. I was bored to the point of insanity in that town.

Great Pics. Thanks for sharing. The Bullet amongst the other 'phoren' bikes was a treat to watch.

how long were you there? where did you stay in Leeds? I'm sure it would've been a gujju run motel if not a proper accommodation. did you get to go to Talladega speedway?

The rest of the bikes paled as soon as I saw the bullet and best of all I saw one being ridden on the track and to top it all it was a diesel!!

Thats a real treat to the eyes! Love the Indian Chief! I see that there were a few members from another forum who were at the meet. The Blue SV650N belongs to one of those guys.

Love them all, the BMW K1 reminds me the ad shown in Cycle megazine during late 80's, comparing it with one rocket and showing the cost paid for the experiance, it was somehow like this.
"For 1000000000$ less you'll have the same experiance".
That time that bike was loaded with ABS and claimed the highest torque figures among other available liter bikes.
