Hey!

Once you are comfortable with the bike you would soon be searching for the 7th gear (or at least wanting an additional gear)

Best Regards & Ride safe

a little late to the party, but congrats!

when I go up, i keep going up until i can't go up anymore. nowadays I don't care about the number of gear, I only match the speed with engine speed.

Thanks @vivekiny2k. The 6th gear issue has been more or less resolved after putting a few hundred mile on the bike. Crossed the 1500 mark today. The first service of the bike was quite costly at ~ $300.

Thanks madhkris. The seating position is quite upright, so it is comfortable on long rides from that point of view, but the suspension is hard. All the undulations are transmitted to the back which makes it uncomfortable on "not-so-smooth" roads.

^^This is off topic, and mods please spare me this time, yesterday on a freeway, a biker (Kwaker 1400), looked asian to me, zoomed past us and was playing around us displaying his bike capabilities and sharing exhaust notes. Wow it blew me away. A friend who is here for a long long time told me, one can get a second hand good one in around 3000-3500 $. I was so so sad that we have to bear around 114% tax on these beauties. Sigh!

Default Outing with a 2007 Honda CBR600RR

Crossed the 2500 mile mark after around 1 month of ownership. Went for a ride this weekend with another biker. Here are a few pics.

Nice set of pics BP.

I suggest you get a tankpad so you dont scuff the paint on the tank. Motografix has some awesome designs. Check them out.

I bought a transparent pro-grip tank protector but messed up while pasting it. It looked horrible, so pulled it off. Need to go to a store to get a new one installed. Also realised that the carbon fiber ones look better than the transparent protectors.

Check this out - Welcome to the Motografix Motoshop

They have loads of designs and you'll find it tough to make a choice.

I have a motografix tankpad on my ninja. Go for a CF tankpad, they look really good.

Thanks for the link. Here are a few more pics. The guy with the red jacket owns the Honda. His name is Rupam. I rode the Honda for a very short distance and have lost my sleep. It is simply awesome, but I have to admit that it is too powerful for me.... at least for now.

2500 miles in a month is mighty impressive. Keep the shiny side up and ride on. Great pics.
