Dippy, such a comment coming from your end sure would have some ground. Can you provide more info on that? I have read through one of the threads on this forum by someone who has faced some issue with his harley but not too sure if thats the case with many buyers.
IMHO, HD would be easier to cruise along than the monstrous intruder (provided cruising is the preference)

If you search online you will come across a rather large database for reliability issues most Harley owners encountered. However, Harley Davidson claims that was a thing of the last decade and the era before that. So if you do go with that is may imply that Harley mostly has sorted reliability issues with respect to mechanicals, but the build quality of most of their exterior components including electricals yet remains to be below standard for production motorcycles, let alone 'high end' production motorcycles.
