Default SUV - budget within 11L. which is better?

I want to buy a SUV to do a lot of off roading and quiet frequent long distance driving. Rcvd mixed reviews on Safari DICOR and Scorpio. Some say the Tuscon is good. I don't want to spend more than 11L. I am trying to get as many factual pieces of data before I club with gut feel and buy. can someone tell me which SUV is better? btw, I have a 800 which i will continue to use on bangalore's gullies (roads?). the suv is strictly for non city driving.

why dont you wait a few months. both are coming out with new engines. the safari should be here very quickly since it has already been shown at an auto show in italy.

If you are looking at Off-roading extensively then it would be best to get a Dicor 4x4 since Scorpio would be of not much use in off-road terrain. Also the Safari would be closer to your price range considering your requirments. As for the Tucson yes it's a good SUV but is priced at about 17L OTR which would be way out of your price range.

Sunban,
For off roading you need a 4WD, Scorpio has 4WD only on the Renault Petrol Version. So you are just left with only Safari Dicor 4X4 so go for it.
Cheers,

The Safari vs Scorpio topic has been discussed extensively before. Please use the search function and continue your discussion over there.
